From Glens to Hills,
Lochs to Rivers and Beyond…
This year, 2020, is the start of the roaring 20s and I am ready to roar. I want to hit the road and have many adventures. My aim is simple, 52 adventures this year. They may be on water, standup paddle boarding or kayaking, on foot walking or behind the wheel exploring and road tripping. It might be something else entirely, there is no plan!
I wasn’t always this adventurous though. I very much used to be unfit, rather unhealthy and often quite scared of trying new things. I would worry, what if I was too unfit, what if I failed, what if I made a fool of myself.
Over the last couple of years, I have worked to change that. I left my career as a primary school teacher and started my own business, Love Outdoor Learning. Now, my aim is to take the chances, the opportunities and follow the whims.
If I mess up, who cares. If I am too unfit, I shall go slower, if I fail… well surely, I shall still learn something along the way. Every journey can teach us something.
This blog will follow what happens, where I go and what I do. It’ll track the adventures, hopefully I shall achieve 52 by the end of the year!
So, here is to a year of adventures, of saying yes, of seeing what happens.
